As an outdoor industry executive Jeff Nash believes in using responsible business practices as a primary lens for innovation and growth. Throughout the majority of his career he has thrived in the unique intersection of product creation and supply chain management, balancing the need to build operational efficiencies with the dynamic creative process. An engineer at heart, Jeff is a technical trailblazer continually in search of new opportunities to embed quality and sustainability into all professional activities. Transparency and collaboration are key approaches he uses to drive meaningful actions.
Jeff built his expertise during periods of rapid growth and change at The North Face and Black Diamond Equipment. His primary focus over the past two decades has been on materials development & technology, product innovation, corporate responsibility, quality systems and supply chain management. It has been the wide range of experiences from managing multi-billion-dollar textile supply chains to key leadership roles in start-up apparel initiatives that have shaped both his work ethic and progressive leadership style. His innate ability to envision customized platforms, strategies and roadmaps across the nuanced product categories of apparel, gear and equipment is a signature skill.
Also known for his five years of active involvement with the Advisory Council of the Outdoor Industry Association Sustainable Working Group (OIA SWG), Jeff has fostered industry collaboration and adoption of sustainable business practices - changing the definition of what it means to be a sustainable business.
Blending personal and professional passions is something Jeff is well acquainted with. He connects with the outdoors on his hometown trails and slopes of Park City, Utah: biking, running and skiing. More often than not, these become family adventures with his wife (an outdoor industry freelance designer) and their two young outdoor-loving kids.
